Fairside is information, not advice. Gambling can lose you money.

Everything we publish is a probability estimate produced by software, for information only. It is not a tip or a recommendation to place any wager, it is not personalised to your circumstances, and no estimate is ever certain. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and never chase a loss. Every decision you make is yours alone. We are not a bookmaker: we never take a wager, hold your money or place one for you. If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is there: BeGambleAware in the UK, Joueurs Info Service in France and SOS Spielsucht in Switzerland.

Terms of Service and Privacy Notice

These terms are an agreement between you and Miles Jensen, trading as Fairside ("Fairside", "we", "us"), covering fairside.ai and app.fairside.ai. Who we are and where to write to us is in section 11. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What the service does

You show us a sports match, usually as a screenshot: a bookmaker's slip, an odds board, a fixture list or a search result. We identify the match and read both sides' records from public results. Our model then researches the match and publishes a probability for each outcome, the statistics and the reasons behind it, and the fair odds those probabilities imply. When a full set of bookmaker odds for the match is available, the published figures lean on it, and the analysis says so.

We cover the sports and competitions listed in the app. When we do not hold enough about both sides to give a real analysis, we say so and decline, and a declined match uses no credit.

Each analysis is written to a tamper-evident record the moment it is made, before the match starts, so it can be scored against the result afterwards. The record of your analyses is yours and visible only to you.

2. What we claim, and what we do not

We claim that each estimate is recorded before the match starts and is scored against the result afterwards, including when we are wrong.

We do not claim to beat the bookmakers, to be profitable, or to be more accurate than the bookmakers' own odds. Where a figure has not been measured, we do not publish it.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 18, and at least the legal age for gambling where you live if that is higher, and able to enter a contract. You must not use the service where using it, or gambling on sport, is prohibited by the law that applies to you. Checking that is your responsibility. One account per person, and you are responsible for everything done through yours.

4. Accounts and sign-in

Sign-in is handled by WorkOS. You can use Google, a one-time code sent to your email, or an email address and password. We never see or store your Google password, and a password you set with us is held by WorkOS, not by us. Your API key is stored only as a hash: we cannot show it to you again after it is created, because we do not have it. Keep it secret, and tell us at once if it is exposed.

5. Plans, credits and billing

Paid plans are bought through Whop, Inc., of 300 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Whop takes the payment and is the merchant of record for card settlement, so Whop is what appears on your statement. For everything else we are the seller: the plan is ours, and so are refunds, disputes and any tax on the sale. We never see or store your card details.

Prices are shown in US dollars and already include any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live. Nothing is added to the price shown at checkout.

PointHow it works
CreditsMonthly and One time include 100 analyses per billing month. Weekly includes 25 analyses per billing week. One analysis uses one credit, however many times you reopen the result.
Failures and declinesAn analysis that fails, or a match we decline because we do not hold enough about it, does not use a credit.
ResetCredits reset on your billing date: every month on Monthly, every week on Weekly, and for One time on the same day of each month as the day you paid. Unused credits do not carry over.
RenewalSubscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
One timeOne time is a single payment. It is never charged again and has nothing to cancel. Its 100 analyses come back every month, from the day you paid, for as long as we run the service. If we withdraw the service, section 13 applies.
CancellingCancel at any time. If you bought your plan through our own checkout, use Manage plan in the app. If you bought before 20 September 2026, cancel where you bought it, or write to us and we will cancel it for you. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
RefundsWe do not refund a part-used month or week. Cancel whenever you like and your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing here affects a refund the law requires us to give you.
OffersAn offer of a share off your first month, or your first week on Weekly, takes that share off your first payment only; every later payment is the full price. It is for accounts that have never had a plan, is shown once, and can be used once.
Price changesWe give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects your renewal.

If a payment fails or is reversed the plan returns to free and its credits stop. Where the law allows, we may recover amounts charged back and any fees we incur.

6. If you change your mind

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you have 14 days to withdraw from a new subscription or a One time purchase. Because the service is available the moment you pay, asking for an analysis inside those 14 days is you asking us to begin at once, and you accept that you then lose the right to withdraw from the part you have used. We will refund the rest. Outside the EEA and the UK there is no cooling-off period, and section 5 applies.

7. Acceptable use

Rate limits apply to every account, signed in or not. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or a data provider at risk, and will say why where we can.

8. Availability and accuracy

Fixtures, results and statistics come from public sources, among them ESPN, TheSportsDB, the leagues' and tours' own sites, Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0) and Cricsheet (ODC-BY 1.0). They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Odds come from your own screenshot or from a web search, and may be out of date. Research draws on public sources that may themselves be wrong. We check that a match exists before analysing it, and refuse rather than guess when we cannot.

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uptime, that an analysis will be available when you want it, or that an estimate is correct.

9. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you upload, and grant us the licence needed to run the service on it: to process it, send it to the providers named in section 12, and store the result in your record. We keep ownership of the service, the software and the estimates we publish. You may use the output for your own decisions and share individual results. You may not build a competing service from it.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise, so far as the law allows: we are not liable for gambling or trading losses, lost winnings, lost profits, lost opportunity or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. You use any bookmaker or market at your own risk.

11. Who we are

Fairside is run by Miles Jensen, a sole trader based in Geneva, Switzerland. Our full postal address is available on request. Write to us about anything, including anything in this document, at support@fairside.ai.

12. Privacy

What we hold

Why, and on what basis

To provide the service and take payment for it (performing this contract), to keep it secure and inside its limits, and to understand how people find us (legitimate interests), and to meet legal and accounting duties. Offers and news by email rest on your agreement, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train models.

Emails

We email you about your account and your plan, for example your sign-in code and your payment receipts. If you create an account on or after 15 October 2026, you also agree to receive occasional emails from us about Fairside, such as offers and news. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time with that link or by writing to support@fairside.ai. We do not sell your address.

Who else processes it

ProviderWhat they receive
WorkOSSign-in. Your email address, your name, and your password if you use one. When you sign in we also send it your IP address and browser, so it can protect your account. It also hosts your profile picture, so it sees your IP address when the app shows it.
WhopPayment and subscription details
OpenAIThe match, any screenshot you upload, and the web searches our model runs, to produce the analysis
ESPN, TheSportsDB and the leagues' own sitesThe matches and competitions we look up. When our server looks them up, they are not told who asked.
ESPN and WikimediaTeam crests and player photos on a card are loaded by your browser straight from their image servers (a.espncdn.com and upload.wikimedia.org), so they see your IP address and browser.
NamecheapOur domain name, and our email (PrivateEmail): email you send us, and our replies.
HetznerHosting. The servers are in Helsinki, Finland, inside the EU.
StripeNothing now. It took our payments before 22 September 2026, and it keeps its own records of the payments made then.

OpenAI and Whop are in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's and Switzerland's adequacy decisions for the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Frameworks, and by the standard contractual clauses in those providers' own terms. WorkOS is in the United States on the same footing.

How long

Everything is kept while you are using the service and deleted when you stop:

WhatHow long we keep it
Your account, your analyses, your journal, practice book, tracked wallets, linked wallet, notes and the campaign that brought you While your plan is live, for as long as it is live, however long you go without opening the app. When a plan ends: 180 days after the day it ended, whether or not you still sign in. If you never had a plan: 180 days with no activity of any kind. Then all of it is deleted.
Your email addressDeleted with the account, in the same pass.
A linked wallet's imported trade historyDeleted when no account is linked to that wallet any more.
Sealed estimatesDeleted with your account. Each one leaves behind only its place in the chain (a fingerprint with nothing about you in it), so the record stays checkable for everyone else. The one exception is an estimate we also gave another member as the answer to their own question: it is part of their record too, so it stays, with no name attached.
Your onboarding answers, copied to your account30 days after they were last copied, then deleted, and sooner with your account.
The match you picked on the first screenUntil you analyse or remove it, at most 30 days, then deleted, and sooner with your account.
Visit counts, how far visitors get, and their quiz answers90 days, then deleted. The key behind the daily visitor code is deleted the next day.
Screenshots and matches we could not analyse90 days, then deleted, and sooner with your account.
BackupsCopies of our databases are kept for about a month and then deleted. A deletion takes effect in the live service as soon as it is made; copies already taken go as those backups expire, within about a month.
Request logs30 days, on the server's own journal, then deleted automatically.
Your IP addressHeld only to count requests against rate limits, and deleted as each limit's window passes: a day at most, as a code made with a key that is deleted every day. It is not written to the request log, and it is not kept with a visit.

You do not have to wait for any of that: ask us and we will delete your account straight away.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account. Write to the address in section 11 and we will act within 30 days. When an account is deleted, its estimates are deleted with it, except any we also gave another member, which stay in their record with no name attached.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you may complain to your data protection authority. Ours is the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.

Cookies and local storage

Two cookies, both strictly necessary and neither of them advertising: one keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one protects the sign-in round trip itself. The creator pages set two more, only for the creators we work with (see below): fs_creator keeps a creator's own link for 400 days, and fs_creator_login lasts 30 minutes and protects the TikTok or Instagram login round trip. Neither is read anywhere else on the site. Your theme choice and any analysis you had in progress are kept in your browser's own storage, and never leave it. Your onboarding answers are kept there too, and once you are signed in a copy of them is kept with your account for 30 days, so another device you sign in on can use them; it is then deleted (see How long). If you pick a match on the first screen, it is kept in your browser for two days and, once you have an account, with your account until you analyse or remove it, and never longer than 30 days. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site, but both the landing page and the app load their typefaces from Google Fonts, the app shows the profile picture WorkOS hosts for you, and a card's crests and player photos load from ESPN's and Wikimedia's image servers, so Google, WorkOS, ESPN and Wikimedia each see the IP address of anyone who opens those pages.

For creators we work with

If you make videos with us, you connect your TikTok or Instagram account yourself, through TikTok's and Instagram's official APIs, and only you can authorise it. Through them we read your videos, their captions and cover images, and their view counts. We never post, comment or change anything on your account.

13. Changes, suspension and ending

You may stop using the service at any time, and ask us at support@fairside.ai to delete your account at any time; it is done within 30 days. We may change these terms; where a change materially affects you we will give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. We may suspend or end an account for a breach of section 7, or withdraw the service entirely on reasonable notice, refunding any period paid for and not used.

14. Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Geneva, Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer keeps any right to bring proceedings where they live.

This was written to describe what the software actually does rather than from a template, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
